I am, as you probably know, a huge J.R. Ward/Black Dagger Brotherhood fan. So it pains me greatly to tell you the following: I was a little disappointed by the latest installment, Lover Revealed. The love story between Butch, the cop, and Marissa, upper-class vampire, was a little … blah.
There is, however, another love story that blazes bright in LR, and I want to jump on the bandwagon and demand that this story be told—in its entirety—in some future book.
Which love story, you ask?
Why, the one between Butch and Vishous, of course.

I haven’t read it yet.I have it sitting on my to-be-read pile. And I think the reason why I haven’t pushed everything aside and dived in, is because I’m not too excited about their story. I did read the teaser for the next installment and boy oh boy that looks like it is going to be so-oo good. I might skip Butch and Marissa…
I did read L. A. Banks The Wicked and that book rocked!

I’m waaay behind on my Vampire Huntress reading. I can’t get those characters out of my head, especially when Carlos misbehaves.
I can’t recommend skipping LR. It’s worth reading–just not as thrilling as, say, Wrath’s or Zsadist’s stories.
