So here’s what happened:
The books reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer, a delightful woman named Sara Pearce, decided to write an article about local authors to watch, and e-mailed to ask if I wanted to be included.
I don’t think you need to guess what the answer to THAT question was.
Armed with my black outfit—could have chosen a white shirt, but went with the black—and a great pair of heels that didn’t make it into the final picture, I headed downtown to have my pic taken with the likes of young adult author Kaza Kingsley and author Brock Clarke, the husband of one of the members of the book club to which I used to belong.
One of the highlights of the whole event was meeting fellow romance author Marjorie M. Liu, who is tall, thin, and beautiful. I decided not to hate her, though, because:
1. She’s a lovely person; and
2. She’s a former lawyer like me.
Thanks to Sara Pearce and everyone at the Enquirer, who made this such a great experience.

Excellent promo opp! You look stunning in the picture.
I read Marjorie Liu’s novella in Dark Dreamers. She’s a paranormal romance author that has been on my to-buy list for a minute. Her Dirk and Steel series looks interesting.

Here’s the funny thing: the reporter asked who some of our favorite authors were, and I listed you, Eve Silver, and Patricia Sargeant as some of my fave new authors. But that info (like my cool heels, alas!) apparently landed on the cutting room floor.
Oh, well. I tried, girl.

Being a writer and professional researcher, its a shame that I did not realize that there were so many established writers here in the Greater Cincinnati area.
I read the aforementioned article yesturday and was intereted in reading every one of the author’s works, especially yours. Is there a bookseller that you suggest where your newest book can be baught?

The books have been in Joseph-Beth, Borders, Waldens and B&N. If you visit one of those stores and they don’t have what you’re looking for, stop at their customer service desk and ask them to order it for you.
The Harlequin books are also in Wal-Mart and Target.
